FAQs

Questions people ask before they commit

How long does a kitchen renovation take?

From first design meeting to finished kitchen often takes two to four months, mostly design and cabinetry manufacture. The time the house is actually without a working kitchen is usually two to four weeks.

Why is there a gap between cabinets and benchtops?

Stone and porcelain benchtops are templated after cabinetry is installed, then fabricated. That wait is commonly one to two weeks and is often the longest part of the on-site program.

Can we set up a temporary kitchen?

Yes. A fridge, microwave, kettle, air fryer or induction plate in the dining room or laundry, with washing up in the laundry tub, gets most families through.

What causes delays?

Late appliance decisions, changes after cabinetry is ordered, surprises behind walls such as old wiring or asbestos, and benchtop fabrication backlogs.
